30 October 2021

The fifth day of writing, which should technically be October 30, 2021, came late, i.e., on November 1, 2021), like did the fourth day of writing because there’re so many other things already on my plate that it gets hard for me to catch on few things which I want to do by heart. Writing is one of those. And this is one of the very reasons I have been slow in writing for the past times. I have played this dialogue in my mind for like ten thousand times before even jotting it down here. So what shall I write or say to myself? And I have a say “I am sorry” Like many times before this too, I am sorry, and there’s nothing more I can say now.

After the three (One, Two, and Three) joyous writes and the fourth painful writing, I feel like this will be ardently tough. However, let’s try :-) I am thinking of writing about Aarvik for this week, because why not? After all, he’s turning four on November 3 ( 2 days from here), and he needs to be celebrated throughout. November is all about Aarvik, and it is his month.

I am writing about his Friday today on a Monday because we just passed a Halloween weekend. On Friday, Aarvik got ready for his daycare in a pirate costume. “A Pirate” was what he wanted to be in this year’s Halloween and thus the costume. Some time back, all Aarvik wanted to read about was Pirates and Unicorns, and it was when we got all the pirates and unicorns books for him from our community library. To have a library in the community is indeed bliss.

The Pirate and Unicorn books from The Corvallis Benton County Library. Pic by me!

So Aarvik was dressed in a pirate costume on the day with an eye patch on one of his eyes. He swagged the look, man! And was happy to be what he was, do things and be happy :-)

He’s a gift.

Metta!
